Developed over 10 years, Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. The course assumes no prior knowledge, there is no obligation to attend every session and you may drop out at any time. No one will try to contact you unless you have specifically asked them to.

The next course takes place on Monday evenings, 7.0-9.0pm. It includes a meal each week, and everything is free of charge.

The course takes you through part of the Bible, the Gospel of Mark, week by week. Each session starts at 7.0pm with a two-course meal - especially useful if you come straight from work or college - and the chance to talk to the other participants. A discussion time follows, then a short presentation with further discussion before we finish at 9.0pm. After week seven there is a Saturday ‘Away Day’ at a local hotel to give us time to look at some topics in depth. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, you’re not asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.

The course is free, meals, all course materials, including the Gospel of Mark, question sheets and a folder, are provided without charge. Ask us for details about the next one.
